Land cadastre designed in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani State Committee of Land and Cartography launches development of land cadastre of Baku within grant agreement signed with Korean government to the amount of $1.5 million, head of committee Garib Mammadov said on July 9.

"Presently, committee conducts active operations to develop land cadastre in Baku," Mammadov said.

Land cadastre includes 5 major elements: state register, registration of volume and quality, cadastre of ecologic land index, estimation of land from economic point of view and development of cadastre map.

"Cadastre system envisages registration of each object in city (telecommunication lines, flats, buildings, tenants on nationality and gender) will allow regulating urban infrastructure," Mammadov said.

Grant agreement Improvement of land cadastre system in Azerbaijan was concluded for 18 months.
