The World Bank and the Azerbaijani government set down to discuss preliminary variant of economic memorandum over Azerbaijan that will cover estimation of economic situation in different trends, Baku's representation of the bank said on July 14.
"WB mission headed by leading economist on Azerbaijan Christos Kostopoulos's is in Baku to conduct completing operation on preparation of the document from July 13-18," the representation said.
Presently, WB mission and the Azerbaijani government discuss comments delivered by state enterprises for preliminary variant of the economic memorandum project delivered earlier and how they will be reflected in it. Delivery of the memorandum to public depends on term of completion of these talks, the representation said.
Moreover, WB leading economist on Azerbaijan will discuss economic situation in Azerbaijan and economic tendencies with members of the government.
The bank's recommendations on improving certain trends will be envisaged in analytic note. This document reflects tendency of economic growth of Azerbaijan, total economic policy. Analysis is conducted on the basis of this policy.
