Azerbaijani Railway changes routes of trains due to threat of explosion

Azerbaijani Railway has made passengers get out at other stations to ensure safety of passengers. Passengers of Tbilisi-Baku train have been made to get out at Bilajari station, trains Rostov-Baku - at Sabunchi and Baku - Boyuk-Kesik - at Keshla station. All these stations are located in suburbs of Baku, the head of Azerbaijan Railway CJSC 's press service, Nadir Azmammadov, said on August 29.

Earlier, the information about a bomb placed at Baku railway station was fixed.

At present, there are no trains on platforms of the station. One train Baku-Agstafa has left earlier.

According to Trend correspondent from a place of the accident, on August 29 at 08:00 a.m. a call about the bomb placed in the building of the railway station was fixed. A person told about the bomb placed near the railway ticket-offices.

The building was cordoned off and workers were evacuated. Operative-search actions were conducted with the help of specially trained dogs.

The information about a bomb placed at Baku railway station was not confirmed, Azerbaijani Railway CJSC said.
