The Georgian public budget amounted to 3,745.64 billion lari in eight months, which is 99 percent of the planned figure, the Georgian Finance Ministry said.
In August, revenues to the public budget amounted to 292.47 million lari.
According to the ministry, 44.17 percent of budget revenues came from taxes. They amounted to 88 percent of the forecasted budget figure. 28.2 percent fell to income from customs, which was at 89 percent. Allocation of grants amounted to 134.12 million lari, with comprised 8.1 percent of the total budgetary revenues.
Income from other sources amounted to 159.47 million lari, which comes to 9.6 percent of the total income.
