Georgia intends to launch export of citrus to Azerbaijan: minister

Georgia intends to launch talks on citrus supplies with Azerbaijan, Georgian minister of agriculture, Bakur Kvezereli, said.

Minister Bakur Kvezereli made this statement before leaving for Kiev today. He told media that purpose of his three-day-visit to Ukraine is export of citrus to this country.

"We have already formalized the agreement on citrus supply to Ukraine. Transportation and terms of production supply of Ukrainian side should be specified," minister said.

Ukraine is planned to be supplied with about 40,000 tons of citrus this season.
