Azerbaijan and Turkey plan to increase turnover in the coming years to $1.5 billion, the Vice Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Abid Sharifov, said. "Several years ago, the annual trade between the countries amounted to $455 million, but now it is over $1 billion," said Sharifov.
According to him, this year the trade turnover between the countries decreased slightly due to global processes, but next year it is expected to increase. Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey in January-August amounted to $668.5 million, according to State Statistics Committee.
