Preferential loans worth 7.3 million manat allocated to entrepreneurs in Azerbaijani region

The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has allocated preferential loans worth 7.3 million manat within the event 'State support for entrepreneurship development in Azerbaijani regions' held in Goychay, the Ministry said on Dec.18.

The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has allocated preferential loans worth 7.3 million manat within the event 'State support for entrepreneurship development in Azerbaijani regions' held in Goychay, the Ministry said on Dec.18.

"The loans have been allocated to 80 individuals of entrepreneurship from Aran and neighboring economic regions. Creation of more than 400 new jobs are envisaged as a result of realization of these projects," the Ministry said.

The participants of the event became familiarized with the course of construction of a grain storage, which is being constructed in Gobustan region by Ltd "ILK-AQROKOM" at the expense of the National Fund's preferential loan and refrigeration storage by LTD "Parallel" in Goychay.

The loan worth 680,000 manat was allocated to "Rashad" commercial-production Company for the construction of a warehouse complex to cleane and keep grain production with capacity of 10,000 tons in Barda. The largest loan worth 4 million manat was also allocated for the construction of a grain warehouse with a capacity of 50,000 tons in Imishli. The loans were allocated for the construction of a grain storage with capacity of 10,000 tons in Barda (1 million manat), realization of the investment project for production and processing of meat products in Dashkesan region (654,500 manat).

Thus, the Fund gave loans worth 125 million manat to 2,035 entrepreneurs through authorized loan organizations from early 2009.

On Dec.19, the official exchange rate is 0.8032 AZN/USD.
