Deutsche Bank AG intends to have long-term partnership with Turkmenistan, high-level representatives said during a personal meeting with Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov.

National TV channel Altyn Asyr reported that was conducted a reception of deputy head of the Board, a member of the Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank AG, Jurgen Fitche and CEO of Deutsche Bank AG for Central and Eastern Europe Peter Tilsa.

"The Bank is proud of working with dynamically developing Turkmenistan and is interested in further enhancing bilateral cooperation," said the guests.

"Turkmenistan, which is undergoing radical modernization, took a path for the full expansion of international cooperation," said the Turkmen leader.

He said special attention is made to attracting the best global practices in management and advanced technologies, as well as the acquisition of modern equipment.

A number of leading German companies that are partners of Deutsche Bank have been actively involved in implementing major projects in Turkmenistan for many years.

Fitche noted that one of the key factors for this interest is "an extremely perspective Turkmen market, where optimal conditions for conducting business have been created, including favorable investment climate".

According to him, "the business circles of Germany are ready to offer Turkmenistan its experience, advanced design and technology in various fields. The priority areas include banking-financial sector and energy sector.
