Exports of Georgian wine to Canada will be significantly increased soon. A delegation of Georgian agriculture, headed by Minister Bakur Kvezereli, arrived to review details of the agreement in Toronto.

Minister told media that Canada is a very attractive market for Georgia, as about 35 million people, actively drinking wine, live there.

"Canadians love the innovation. It allows us to make good predictions for the sale of Georgian wines," he said.

During the meetings a decision was made to allocate Georgian products a certain quota by the local authorities in accordance with the Georgian-Canadian intergovernmental agreement.

Moreover, a joint Georgian-Canadian company, which will deal with the sale of Georgian wines, has been established.

The Ministry of Agriculture said that the Canadian market is one of the most promising for the sale of Georgian wines.
