In order to develop the market of payment cards and card infrastructure in the country the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) in cooperation with the international payment system MasterCard held a workshop on "Combating fraud in the payment card market" on Wednesday, the CBA said.
MasterCard Risk Services Director Cem Kibaroglu talked about organizing the fight against fraud by the issuer and realizing the necessary measures to prevent risks, and using international experience in this sphere, including in risk management in e-commerce.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Central Bank, government organizations and commercial banks working in the country.
