Azerbaijan's GDP increases by more than 4 percent

In January-September 2010, Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 4.1 percent or one billion manat compared to the same period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said Wednesday. At current prices, GDP amounted to 29.3 billion manat. The volume of GDP per capita amounted to 3,286.6 ($4,090.4), increasing by 2.9 percent.

Value added price in non-oil sector has increased 5.2 percent compared to the same period of last year, and in the oil and gas production and processing - 2.7 percent.

The total production volume in all sectors of the economy grew by 2.8 percent to 19.5 billion manat (66.6 percent of GDP), where the main part - 54.4 percent of GDP (15.9 billion manat) accounted for industry.
