The construction of the tallest hotel on the Black Sea coast is underway in Batumi. The company B&G Georgia plans to complete the skyscraper's construction by May 1, 2014.
The building will be commissioned on Jan. 1, 2015.
The hotel will be built on the Batumi coast with an of 9,805 square meters. The management of the complex will be transferred to the operator. The hotel will have at least 300 five-star rooms.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili recently noted the hotel's construction.
"The highest hotel in the Caucasus and the Black Sea coast will be constructed in Batumi," he said. "If I am not mistaken, it will have 60 floors. This is our future, but in the future Georgians should not only be builders and projectors, but also investors."
