Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 4 / Trend N. Ismayilova /
The European Union (EU) has launched Helpdesk for exporters at http://exporthelp.europa.eu in Russian, the EU Delegation in Azerbaijan said.
Helpdesk is an online service of the European Commission providing the information to exporters, importers, trade associations and governments of non-EU member-countries, so they can deliver their goods to the EU market.
Helpdesk was designed in Russian to improve trade and cooperation between the EU and the six countries of Eastern Partnership "(Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia).
The EU is the world's largest market. It is a leading partner for the Azerbaijani exports. Moreover, Azerbaijani enterprises have preferential terms for exports to the EU since January 2009. It greatly reduced and in some cases even eliminated import duties when entering the EU market.
Besides these profitable trading opportunities, Azerbaijani entrepreneurs can diversify and increase exports because Azerbaijani exporters can obtain necessary information in Russian via this website to reach the European markets.
Helpdesk was launched in 2004. It is available in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian.
