Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover exceeds $25bln

Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover with 145 countries comprised $25.115 billion in January-November, the State Customs Committee reported. The black ink of import-export operations amounted to $13.692 billion.

In total 7,241legal entities (3.533) and physical entities (3.708) participated in the foreign trade operations.

The amount of export increased by 47.36 percent ($6.236 billion) as compared to the same period of 2009 and comprised $19.404 billion.

The share of public sector in exports totaled $18.387 billion (94.76 percent), private - $0.9 billion (4.64 percent) and individuals - 115.509 million (0.6 percent).

During the report period, imports totaled $5.711 billion, which increased by 4.8 percent ($0.261 million) compared to the same period of 2009.

The share of public sector in import operations amounted to $1.569 billion (27.49 percent), the private sector - $3.842 billion (67.26 percent) and individuals - $300.012 million (5.25 percent).

In January-November, Azerbaijan exported 2,063 types of goods and imported 5,922.
