Uzbekistan increased crude ethyl alcohol production by 8 percent in 2010

Uzbekistan increased production of crude ethyl alcohol by 7.5 percent to 5.509 million dal in 2010 compared to 2009, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
From early 2011, the production of vodka and liquors in Uzbekistan increased by 1.6 percent - up to 9.593 million dal, cognac - in 2.2 times up to 76,700 dal, beer - by 21.1 percent - up to 25.029 million dal, wine - by 1.3 percent up to 2.128 million dal, champagne - by six percent - up to 123,750 dal.

According to official statistics, in 2009 Uzbekistan increased production of crude ethyl alcohol by 9.4 percent up to 5.124 million dal compared to 2008.

Production of vodka and liquors grew by 11.8 percent - up to 9.435 million dal, cognac - by 35.8 percent up to 35.500, beer - by 11.9 percent up to 18.112 million dal. Production of wine reduced by 3.1 percent - up to 2.107 million dal.
