The members of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Association (ATIB) and representatives of the Azerbaijani State Migration Service, including Service's Unified Information System Department Head Sabuhi Mammadov and Legal Department Inspector Jamil Huseynov, have today held a meeting, the structure reported today.
The meeting aimed to inform the ATIB members about migration processes, immigration, emigration, temporary residence and obtaining of visas by foreigners and people not having the Azerbaijani citizenship.
ATIB First Deputy Chairman Cemal Yangin said the issues such as the extension of temporary stay of foreign nationals in the country, issuance of permits for temporary and permanent residence, issuance of individual permits to work and extension of the permit in accordance with the legislation, are important for employers.
Huseynov said a shift to the "single window" system has been a significant event in the management of the migration processes. Today, foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the country, as well as their employers, need to address the relevant issues only in the State Migration Service.
