On Monday, the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan hosted a round table on "Azerbaijani model of development: successful reforms of the pension-insurance system."
The round table was devoted to the book "Azerbaijani model of development", the author of the ideas and the introductory words to which is the Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev. Editor of the book is the doctor of historical sciences, professor Ali Hasanov, responsible for the issuance - editor-in-chief of "Azerbaijan" newspaper, MP Bakhtiyar Sadigov.
"Social welfare and the achievement of its development in contemporary time is one of the most important tasks of the progress of every society. Because it is impossible to talk about the development of society, where there is no social welfare and quality of life of people," Sadigov said during the event.
According to him, in this sense, the implementation of social policy serving the sustainable growth of the financial welfare of the citizens is the main task of the country.
Making a speech during the round table, the head of SSPF, doctor of economic sciences, Salim Muslimov said that Azerbaijan's development model was shaped by the influence of the main stages of social and economic life, appearing as one of the leading elements of the philosophy of nation building.
During the event, also discussions were held on the strategic directions of pension insurance system, conducting reforms in accordance with the international standards, the organization of social insurance in the new system of economic relations and other issues.
