Azerbaijani insurance company's assets increased by 1.6 times in 2010

The assets of the Azerbaijani Insurance Company "Emrah Sigorta" totaled 4.512 million manat as of 2010 compared to 2.798 million manat in 2009, the company said.

The long-term assets for the period amounted to 198.989 million manat, short-term - 4.313 million manat. Deposit accounts of the company last year totaled 1.52 million manat, currency accounts - 6.173 manat.

The paid authorized capital was 3,5 million manat, net profit - 119.153 manat, undivided profits of past years - 4.034 manat in 2010.

The aggregate capital of the company last year amounted to 3.623 million manat.

The long-term liabilities of the company hit 866.747 manat, short-term liabilities - 22.313 manat, while total liabilities - 4.512 million manat.

The company's revenues amounted to 739.678 manat as of 2010, including insurance - 724.791 manat, reinsurance - 13.226 manat, income from investments - 288.561 manat. The company's expenses for 2010 amounted to 620.525 manat, including insurance benefits - 323.550 manat, reinsurance payments - 2.645 manat

Emrah Sigorta insurance company has been operating in the Azerbaijani market since 1993. The company has a license to provide 18 insurance services, three of which are compulsory. The company's shareholders are two physical entities.

As of 2010, the premiums of the company hit 0.74 million manat, the payments - 0.32 million manat.
