Turkmenistan to buy Challenger 870 aircraft in Canada

Turkmen Airlines will sign a contract with the Canadian Bombardier Inc company to purchase a Challenger 870 aircraft, an official Turkmen source said.

This will be the second contract signed with the company.

Earlier, one Challenger-605 was bought. In general, the fleet uses the liners of the U.S Boeing company for international and domestic flights. The old Soviet planes were put on sale.

At present, Turkmen Airlines makes flights to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Great Britain, Turkey, UAE, Germany, Thailand, China, India and other countries.

Preliminary intergovernmental agreements were reached with some countries including Azerbaijan, France, South Korea, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan to establish air communication.
