Georgia attempts to attract Dutch investments to water sector

The Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister, Ramaz Nikolaishvili is on an official visit to the Netherlands.

The Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister, Ramaz Nikolaishvili is on an official visit to the Netherlands.
He met with the President of the Association of Dutch Water Companies Lenarg Silphis, President of the Association of Dutch Municipalities Peter Knip and officials of the Economy Ministry's Investment Agency in The Hague.
At the meeting it was decided that the Association of Dutch Water Companies and the United Water Supply Company of Georgia will issue a memorandum, which helps to attract the Dutch investments in Georgia's water sector, the ministry told Trend.
"We require new projects and the Dutch side will assist us in this. We have agreed on the design of the memorandum, which will allow the employees of our home-rule to be better prepared in the Netherlands," Nikolaishvili said.
