As a result of implementing the concept of services provided to taxpayers by the tax authorities, in 2011-2015 the level of voluntary tax will increase from the current 70 percent to 82-85 percent, head of the taxpayers service department of the Taxes Ministry of Azerbaijan Elchin Mammadov said at the presentation of the concept.
According to him, by 2016 there are plans to reduce the number of tax evaders from three percent to two percent. The share of partially tax evaders will also be reduced from 27 percent to 13-15 percent by 2016.
According to Deputy Taxes Minister Sahib Alekperov, there are plans to introduce a system for online-registration in the coming months in order to support the development of entrepreneurship in the country.
In the first stage, the transition to online-registration will be made for individuals, and in the future for legal entities.
