In 2013, the Baku Metro will complete the modernization work at the station "28 May", the head of industrial engineering department of Baku Metro Fuad Tagizede said at Caspian international transport conference.
Also, according to Tagizede, in order to ensure passenger comfort, Baku Metro plans to install air conditioners in trains.
Earlier surveillance cameras were installed in the trains. "In order to ensure the security, surveillance cameras were also installed at Metro stations," said Tagizede.
Baku Metro has been operating since 1967 and has 22 stations.
