The Georgian government will assist to the development of customs cleared vehicles' re-export. As the Georgian parliament told Trend, the relevant amendments are made to the Internal Revenue Code, which the parliament is expected to approve at an extraordinary meeting.
According to the bill, if a person imported and got customs clearance for the car, and decided to export within 15 days, the importer gets back 50 percent of excise tax paid for the car.

It should be noted that Georgia becomes the center of car re-export in the region. Cars are mainly exported from Georgia to the region's countries and Kazakhstan. Car re-export ranked first in the export of Georgia.
