Iran attracted $11.5 billion foreign investment last solar year (ended on March 20, 2011), while 32 percent of this figure belongs to direct foreign investment, ISNA reported quoting Iran's Economy Minister Shamsoldin Hosseini as saying.
"Total of $11.889 billion foreign investment attracted last solar year, which indicates 20 percent growth compared to 2010" he said.
The ratio of foreign investment growth in Iran increased to 124 percent in 2010 comparing to 2008.
Major foreign investment was applied on Iran's industry, Mine and energy sector.
Iran currently trade with more than 100 countries and it's none oil export increased 24 percent despite western sanctions, he added.
