Iran to run biggest LPG project

Iran to launch biggest LPG project in Farhjr e Jam refinery by late August with annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of liquid gas, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Deputy Oil Minister Javad Ouji as saying.

"The project intends to reduce energy while extraction of liquid gas (LPG) will operate by late August," he said.

The project will increase country's LPG production by 1.5 million tons and increase Fajr e Jam refinery's profit.

More than $20 million invested on LPG project.

Fajr e Jam refinery ranks country's second gas refinery in Assalouyeh after South Pars gas refinery.
