The share of foreign capital in the Turkish banking sector reached 43 percent as of September, a report posted on the official website of the Central Bank said today.
The assets of foreign shareholders increased by 28.5 percent in January-September compared to 24.3 percent in the same period of last year.
The assets of the Turkish banking sector increased by 20.6 percent and reached 1.2 trillion lira over nine months.
