The Kazakh public organizations have spent 3.8 billion tenge ($1=147.8 tenge) to purchase firtrees, the Kazakh Center for Electronic Commerce's press service reported on Thursday.
"This kind of purchase includes firtrees, intended for planting, and firtrees as the main ornament of the New Year holiday," the press service reported.
According to the portal in 2011, the public structures spent 233 million tenge on products for the holidays and carnivals.
