Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law "On introducing amendments and supplements to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of currency regulation and currency control," the presidential press service reported on Monday.
The law is aimed at improving the currency legislation.
The law replaces the procedure of transaction passport issuance, required for customs clearance by the contract registration procedure. The transaction passport abolition is necessary for customs clearance, simplification of the foreign exchange transactions procedures and clarification of the exchange control procedure.
Moreover, the law lifts restrictions on export of the national currency equivalent to $10,000.
