Georgian energy development fund announces tender

The Georgian Energy Development Fund announced a tender.

The winner of the tender will prepare the study of technical-economic feasibility, design of the project, tender documentation, design of construction operations and discussion of hydromechanical and electromechanical design for the project of the fund "Machakhela hydro-electric power station-1" and "Machakhela hydro-electric power station-2", the Georgian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend.

The fund also announced the tender to prepare the report on the impact on the environment and social sphere for the project of the fund "Machakhela hydro-electric power station-1" and "Machakhela hydro-electric power station-2"
Georgian Energy Development Fund plans to conduct the construction operations in Khelvachauri region of Adjara on the Ajaris-Tskali river "Machakhela hydro-electric power station -1" (power 20 MW) and "Machakhela hydro-electric power station -2" (power 20 MW).

According to the preliminary calculations, the construction of the station must be completed for three years. The annual production of both hydro-electric power stations will hit 240 GWh.

The bids will be accepted until 17:00 on February 13.
