The Russian Prime Minister and presidential candidate Vladimir Putin calls on Russia to catch up with Kazakhstan on business running condition in an article published in the newspaper "Vedomosti".
"Kazakhstan should be a model for us. The World Bank rated Kazakhstan as the 47th in its business running condition, while Russia ranks the 120th," Putin said.
Thus, Putin proposed to set the task to reach the best business running conditions. According to Putin, these changes should be done in several years.
To achieve this target Putin proposed to decrease state control on business in Russia, develop programs attracting public investments into the business through pension, trust and collective funds, and reduce inflation.
