It has become necessary for Kazakhstan to get rid of individual customs privileges which are being seen as one of the reasons for corruption and of the potential to increase revenue collection towards the budget, chairman of the Customs Control Committee at the Kazakh Finance Ministry Mazhit Esenbayev said at an enlarged board meeting.
He offered to conduct an analysis of the system of providing such privileges and preferences in order to assess which segments of the economy they are directed to support.
