A memorandum of co-operation has been signed during an international cruise shipping exhibition in Miami to inaugurate the establishment of the Cruise Industry Association of the Black Sea.
The Government of Adjara told Trend that the leader of Adjara, Levan Varshalomidze signed the memorandum, together with the heads of various companies and cruise port cities.
Members of the new association pledged to gradually develop and implement a unified strategy for the cruise industry's development.
The leader of the Adjara government put forward an initiative to create such an association during the Seatrade International Forum in Istanbul last year.
