Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received the president of the Turkish Cotam Enterprises company Muammer Agim, the Turkmen government said today.
The company operates on the local market as a long-term business partner in the implementation of major joint projects.
"Long successful cooperation with Cotam is an example of effective, trusted partnership meeting the mutual interests," the Turkmen leader said.
The opportunity of the company's participation in a number of important social and industrial projects in Dashoguz region was another topic of discussions.
First of all, the matter rests in the participation in an international tender for design and construction of a new cattle-breeding complex in this region.
Another important object is the new sanatorium.
The Turkmen-Turkish intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation has been operating since 2008.
Over 600 Turkish companies operate in Turkmenistan in such areas as textiles, construction of housing fund, medical and cultural centers.
