Turkey will support Kyrgyzstan in attracting agricultural investments, Kyrgyz presidential press service reported on Monday.
This issue was discussed by the parties during the meeting of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev and Turkish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker.
The president stressed the positive dynamics of political development of the Kyrgyz -Turkish relations, stressing that "it is important for Kyrgyzstan so that trade and economic ties kept pace with the level of political relations between the countries".
In turn, Mehmet Mehdi Eker said that he arrived in Kyrgyzstan to confirm the Turkish side's commitment to provide comprehensive support, in particular, in attracting investments into the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan.
