Azerbaijan and Turkey have signed a final protocol following a meeting of the second working group in Baku today to resolve the cooperation issues in the field of labor and social protection.

The document was signed by Azerbaijani and Turkish Deputy Ministers of Labor and Social Protection Natig Mammadov and Namik Ata, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labour and Social Protection said today.

The ways of solving the problems of the citizens of the two countries in the field of labor and social protection, a residence permit were discussed at the meeting.

Following the meeting, the decision was made to reconsider the existing cooperation agreements between the Azerbaijani and Turkish Ministries of Labor and Social Protection according to current realities and to sign a new agreement.

"The parties decided to approve the draft of the new agreement on the mutual employment of Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens, which will be signed after the internal procedures are finished," the report says.
