Hesab.az resource will serve as a portal of e-commerce, Goldenpay company head Farid Ismailzade told media today.
Ismailzade said that the number of services rendered by the portal will soon be expanded.
"The resource will be working on the ebay.com principle where users will be able to carry out purchase-sale operations, as well as deliver products for auction," he said. "The portal will serve as a single window where people can buy and sell goods, pay utility bills, internet, telephony, TV, tour tickets, plane tickets, train tickets and tickets to cultural centres."
Payment will be made from the e-purse hesab.az. One can open an account by registering on the portal. Replenishing the e-purse can be made through the banks, the post office or via the self-service terminals at Paypoint.
"The deadline for the project's launch is scheduled for January 2013," Ismailzade said. "We plan to issue Hesab.az own cards with the assistance of one of the banks. They will perform the same functions as Visa and MasterCard, which can make the payments by receiving certain bonuses then replenish a deposit in a bank."
