The Agency for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Azerbaijan has announced an open tender for the supply and installation of equipment for waste water treatment in six cities of Azerbaijan, a report said on Wednesday.
The tender will be conducted on three lots:
Lot 1: supply and installation of equipment for waste water treatment in the cities of Agstafa and Tovuz (450 and 426 kilometres from Baku, respectively);
Lot 2: supply and installation of equipment for waste water treatment in the cities of Zagatala and Oguz (411 and 290 kilometres from Baku, respectively);
-Lot 3: supply and installation of equipment for waste water treatment in the cities of Goranboy and Goygol (327 and 370 kilometres from Baku, respectively).
For local business in accordance with the instructions, privileges will be given. During evaluation of the proposals the quality and commissioning time of the facilities whose reconstruction was carried out in the past three years within the tenders for the construction of water supply and sewage systems in Azerbaijan will be taken into account.
The fee for participation in the tender for each lot is 2000 manat. Bids will be opened at 16:00 on October 11, 2012.

The official exchange rate is 0.7852 AZN to $1 on Sept. 12.
