Over $8.5 million in fish exported from Mazandaran province

Over $8.5 million worth of fish have been exported from Iran's northern Mazandaran province in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20, the IRIB reported.

The exports grew by 100 percent compared to the same period last year, and are projected to be increased to $12 million by the end of the year.

The fish were mainly exported to Iraq, Turkmenistan, and the UAE.
