The first International Conference "Innovation technologies and solutions for modern banking" was held in Kiev on December, 18-19, 2012. Grand ceremony of International awards to the "Best GUAM Banks in the sphere of innovation technologies and solutions implementation - 2012" was arranged during the conference, and the winners were awarded.
Conference and the award were held by international magazine "Banker" (Ukraine), in partnership with Democracy and Economic Development Organization - GUAM (Georgia, the Ukraine, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Moldova).
The awards organizers arranged preliminary preparation of the award including questionnaires to find out which Bank may become the winner. Besides, the organizers examined materials from open sources and consulted with rating agencies and associations.
"AtaBank" won the award in the nomination "Best GUAM Banks in the sphere of innovation technologies and solutions implementation - 2012".
It should be noted that "AtaBank"OJSC was established in 1993 and has become one of the major commercial companies in Azerbaijan. Today OJSC AtaBank is considered as a full-service hi-tech bank. It should also be mentioned that by the end of 3rd quarter of 2012, the Bank net assets were 256.146 mln manats, with deposit portfolio of 215.416 mln manats, and loan portfolio of 186.544 mln manats.
