Russian Joint-Stock Company (JSC) "Vozrozhdenie", performing road construction in Turkmenistan, is investing heavily in these projects, head of the construction company Igor Bukato said in an interview with Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

It was noted that there are two types of investment. The company has been operating on the Turkmen market since 2009.

"The first type of investment includes the equipment, technology, investments in real estate that we have made here worth about $ 100 million. In addition, we have invested a considerable amount in the beginning of construction. And we continue investing," Bukato said.

He said the funds are primarily invested in new technologies.

"We have encountered such peculiarities as sagging soils that do not hold the road and special technology is required," Bukato said.

In particular, the asphalt which melts at high temperatures requires special work on bitumen. Installations for modification of bitumen are introduced to solve this problem.

Russian experts also take into consideration the complex seismic situation in the region.
In this regard, pendulum bearings, damping devices and shock transmitters produced by leading manufacturers were added in the construction of bridge bearings.

The Vozrozhdenie company has created the relevant infrastructure for implementation of projects in Turkmenistan: three asphalt concrete plants, two concrete mixing units, a quarry for extraction and production of inert materials with a monthly shipment of up to 150,000 cubic meters of production, and other facilities.
