The Georgian National Bank will not regulate the securities market. According to the Georgian National Bank, a new independent regulatory body - the National Commission on Securities is being established in the country.
The relevant bill has already been submitted to the Georgian Parliament. The amendments will be made to a number of bills, including the laws on "Securities", "Georgian National Bank", "Activities of commercial banks" and others.
