Diversification of energy is new way of transaction between Eurasia, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said during panel discussions of Caspian Forum in New York.
According to him, this will create a new momentum and EU needs this.
Davudoglu hopes that EU will understand its urgency.
"Why we have optimism? Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation means full trust. Turkish geography became asset for Azerbaijan. And Azerbaijan gas became an asset for Turkey. Natural resources plus geography. We don't see any competition. But our friends and neighbors want to be part of this. It will be new emerging Europe", Davudoglu said.
Turkey wants cheap energy and as much of it as possible, minister added.
"We have energy deficiency and it will also make Turkey a big transit country", - minister said.
Turkey is the biggest market in the surrounding region and it creates transition from producers to consumers, Turkish FM added.
