Iran exported around 1481 cars to Azerbaijan in the first nine months (Iranian starts March 21). The total cost of the exported cars amounted to $10 million, the Customs Organisation of Iran said on Jan.14.
Some 282 KIA Pride cars were exported from Iran to Azerbaijan in Nov.-Dec. 2013. Their total cost amounted to $1635.6 million.
Iranian carmaker SAIPA exported 96 TİBA cars worth $710,400 to Azerbaijan in December.
Additionally, Samand, Peykan and Tondar cars at a total cost of $673,000 were exported from Iran to Azerbaijan.
The cost of one KIA Pride car exported from Iran to Azerbaijan is $5800, TİBA - $7400 and Samand - $8000.
Cars produced in Iran are mainly exported to Azerbaijan, Egypt and Iraq, according to the Customs Organisation.
Around 27,000 tons of spare parts worth a total cost of $350,000 were exported to Azerbaijan in nine months. They include electrical equipment, radiators, clutches, aspirators and tyres.
