Three or four general contractors will be involved in the construction of facilities for the EXPO-2017 international exhibition, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Astana EXPO-2017, Talgat Yermegiyaev said at a briefing held in Astana on March 14.
"The general contractor for the construction of EXPO-2017 facilities has not yet been chosen, but I will confirm there will be three or four contractors as it is impossible to cover all the facilities in such a large-scale project. The area is large," he said.
The volume of work will cover one million square metres, according to the board chairman.
