Georgia's Energy Ministry has announced a tender to work out the feasibility study (FS) of the project for construction and management of a hydro power plant (Stori HPP-1).
The HPP will be built on the Stori River in the country's Kakheti region (Eastern Georgia).
Individuals and legal entities interested to participate in the tender should submit the required documents to Georgian Energy Ministry, the ministry told Trend on May 22.
The deadline for submitting the applications for participation in the tender: July 4, 2014.
The ministry said that the installed capacity of the plant will be 14 megawatts and the plant will be able to produce some 69.37 million kilowatt/hours of electricity per year.
The estimated investment cost of the project is $25.2 million.
