Specialists of the Kazakh national KazMunaiGas oil and gas company study the experience of Norwegian Statoil in the field of geological exploration, the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said.
"The delegation of KazMunaiGas NC JSC visited Norway, where the meetings with the management and staff of Statoil international oil and gas corporation were held," the statement said.
During the meeting, the Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the long-term development strategy, priority activities of the Statoil company, experience of the implementation of the program for business transformation, current approaches to the organization of corporate functions, including strategic planning, performance evaluation and motivation of staff, as well as with the investment and technological processes.
Delegation of KazMunaiGas also visited the visualization centre of geological exploration work in the office of Statoil in Oslo. Employees of the company spoke about the latest developments in the field of geological exploration, applied technological and innovative solutions.
The purpose of the visit of the KazMunaiGas delegation to Norway is to improve the efficiency in the areas of exploration and production, refining, and foreign assets management.
