Russian companies can participate in the tender for the construction of new subway lines in Tehran and the purchase of rolling stock, Tehran's mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"When the tender for the carriage purchase is announced, Russian companies can participate there," he added.
Ghalibaf said that about 100 metro stations have been already built and the total length of track is some 200 kilometers.
