Iran on March 9 will inaugurate 5 gas compressor stations of the 8th cross-country pipeline (IGAT-8) to increase its transit capacity by 50 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d) to the final capacity of 110 mcm/d on March 9.
Twenty compressors with 25-megawatt power each, would operate at 5 stations, Shana news agency reported.
IGAT-8 pipeline transits gas from South Pars gas field to central regions of Iran.
