A technical and commercial proposal was prepared in Turkmenistan for establishing production of artificial graphite, by creating a joint venture or a joint stock company with the country’s ministries, writes the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
“The need for it [artificial graphite] creates prerequisites for organizing release of this product in Turkmenistan, and against the background of its deficit in the world – for strengthening our country's positions in foreign markets,” reads the article.
A trial experiment has already been conducted by specialists of the Turkmen ULKE Individual Enterprise and state enterprise “Turkmennebitonumleri.”
“With the mastering of advanced technologies of graphitization, Turkmenistan has the opportunity to become a new player in the global market of artificial graphite,” the article said.
