The number of Iranian citizens visiting Turkey increased by 65,529 in February 2018, according to a report of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
The report says that 196,125 Iranians visited Turkey in the period.
According to the report, Iranian citizens accounted for 12.84 percent of the total number of foreigners visiting Turkey in February 2018.
This is while Iranian citizens accounted for 11.16 percent of the total number of foreigners visiting Turkey in January 2018.
In total, over 1.527 million foreigners visited Turkey in February 2018, says the report.
This is while 2.988 million foreigners visited Turkey in January-February 2018.
